The word victim is defined as "a person who has come to feel helpless and passive in the face of misfortune or ill-treatment."
I don't see myself or anyone with HS as a victim I saw a word used a couple of days ago to describe us. A word that means "a brave & experienced soldier & fighter". That is the word that describes us, Warrior.
For that reason, I have set up this page and invited my fellow warriors to come and share their thoughts, feelings, and experiences of fighting this disease!
